When You Need to Remember Who You Are

This blog serves as a gentle reminder that you are known, loved, worthy and purposed for greatness. Feel free to say these affirmations out loud, write them down and think/speak them continuously until you believe them. Doing this will allow the Word to be hidden in your heart and stored for whenever you need it the most (Proverbs 119:11-12).

I am a masterpiece.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”

Ephesians 2:10

I am glowing with health, have a fine appearance and beautiful features. I am anointed. I am the one for the job.

“So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”

1 Samuel 16:12

God will bless the work of my hands.

“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.”

Deuteronomy 28:12

I have the strength and energy I need to complete my tasks.

“She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.”

Proverbs 31:17

I am in perfect peace.

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!”

Isaiah 26:3

I am healthy and successful.

“Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].”

3 John 2

I show discipline and self-control in everything I do.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”

2 Timothy 1:7

I am not alone.

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8

I know where I’m going.

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Psalms 32:8

Be encouraged friends!
