  1. Spend time with God daily. Spiritual health is a deep well and it affects every area of your life. Those who spend time in God’s Word daily often find a sense of inner peace and meaningful connection from it. Through His word, His revelations speak to us. Faith is strengthened and hope for the future is restored.

  2. Use a planner. Writing down what you have to do in an agenda sets a framework for your day. It helps you mentally prepare for upcoming tasks and allows you to set clear goals and objectives. Writing tasks down can also help you prioritize your time. I recommend making daily to-do lists to increase your productivity.

  3. Workout. Exercising does not have to be intense for it to be effective. Daily, consistent movement, such as walking outside or on a walking pad, still decreases stress and increases energy levels over time. Moderate strength training, 2-3 times a week, also promotes longevity and helps you perform daily tasks efficiently. Overall, finding a good workout regimen that you enjoy and that you will stick with is most effective to your well-being and health.

  4. Rest. Rest improves overall performance and helps support healthy systems. It is actually a game changer. Most times when we think of rest, we think of physical rest such as sleeping or napping. But there’s so many more ways to rest. Professional self-care treatments such as massages, facials or acupuncture are also considered rest. Walking and stretching are considered putting your body at a state of rest too. Doing absolutely nothing, doing something unproductive or saying “no” is also on the “rest list”. It’s important that we have a good rhythm of work and rest if we want to reach optimal functionality and potential.
