Quick Inspiration From 6 Bible Figures

If you ever need inspiration, The Bible is a good place to start. The Word is filled with stories of people who were not perfect but worth it - just like us. It is evident that the conquerors of Biblical times were surrounded by God’s grace, but their stories illustrate their courageousness as well. Read the stories of these Biblical figures next time you need motivation!

David - A shepherd boy who became King - glowing with health, handsome, a warrior and a musician. (1 & 2 Samuel)

Esther - An orphan who became a Queen - favored and took form for “such a time as this”. (Esther)

Ruth - Lost it all but was faithful, gleaned, restored and married. This is a redemption story. (Ruth)  

Solomon - The wealthiest King to ever live - full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. (2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Chronicles)

Nehemiah - Focused, prayerful and disciplined. Built a broken city back up and led others to have a relationship with God. (Nehemiah)

Joseph - Sold into slavery as a boy but became a prominent ruler in Egypt - only second in command to Pharaoh. The Lord was with him and whatever he did prospered. (Genesis 37-50)
